Top Gear: Ariel Atom V8 vs BMW S1000RR
The Ariel Atom V8, which uses the Hayabusa V8 motor (2 busa heads and a custom block), edges out the BMW S1000RR by about a second. It looks like the Atom catches the S1000RR under braking as expected (4 large tires are better than 2 small tires), the S1000RR does seem to pull from the Atom in the straights and it looks like the bike and car corner at similar speeds which is surprising. I would of thought the car would be able to corner much faster.

Vyrus 986 M2
I'm really looking forward for the new Vyrus 986 M2 to come out. Vyrus is developing a new motorcycle for the MotoGP Moto2 Championship with hub-centric front suspension, there is no other bike in the Moto2 grid with a design anything like this and it is going to be very interesting to racing in the crazyness of the Moto2 grid. They are also releasing some street versions of the bike, although very expensive they are going to be very unique and can take different engines depending on what lump you would like in the bike.

Chip Yates has built one of the best electric bikes on the planet (my other favorite being Michael Czysz' MotoCzysz E1pc).
These electric bikes are extremely intriguing and what particularly interests me on on these bikes are the Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems (KERS). Chip Yates' bike is equipped to use a front end KERS which is a very cool set up.

Rossi on 1198SP
Can't wait to see how much Rossi helps out Ducati, not just with their MotoGP bike but with their street bikes as well (2012 Superbike). His feedback will be extremely valuable.
