Top Gear: Ariel Atom V8 vs BMW S1000RR

The Ariel Atom V8, which uses the Hayabusa V8 motor (2 busa heads and a custom block), edges out the BMW S1000RR by about a second. It looks like the Atom catches the S1000RR under braking as expected (4 large tires are better than 2 small tires), the S1000RR does seem to pull from the Atom in the straights and it looks like the bike and car corner at similar speeds which is surprising. I would of thought the car would be able to corner much faster.
Bikes are more fun anyways...
