2012 Yamaha R1 gets traction control...

Yamaha has added a 7 level traction control, adjustable throttle response and engine mapping with 21 possible combinations to the current R1 platform. Although the current R1's engine is awesome, it is lacking hp up top when compared to the other manufactures who are offering TC. Looks like it is going to take the Japanese an other year or so to make the big changes to their liter bikes...and Kawasaki needs to figure out how to make the HP that their current ZX-10R is capable of while still passing noise/emissions in the USA.
